FAQ
I already have an app that shows me my orders. What is the difference?
The app will keep showing you the mistake right up until you ship it. This automation catches the problem which the app just displays it.
Can’t I just set this up myself with Zapier or Make?
You can wire up the basic sync in an afternoon. The logic that catches missing details, flags rush orders, and holds production is the part that takes longer, and the part that actually saves you money.
What if my product fields are different from a typical personalized-goods business?
Expected. The system is built once, then configured to your exact fields: color, size, text, thread, whatever you sell. A 15-minute call tells us if it’s a fit.
How long does setup take?
Most builds are live within 7 business days once we have store access and a walkthrough of your fields. We will make reviews until it fits to your needs.
Do I need to give you access to my Shopify admin?
Yes, limited access to connect order data. We’ll walk you through exactly what’s needed, including collaborator access if you’d rather not share full admin login.
What happens if the automation breaks?
We will monitor and fix before it affects your production queue, not after you notice something’s wrong.
Do you work with platforms other than Notion?
Notion’s our default, but the same system can deliver into Airtable, Google Sheets, or whatever you already use.
How is this different from hiring a VA to check orders?
A VA still has to remember to check, still gets tired at order #47, and usually costs more monthly than this. This doesn’t get tired and doesn’t forget.
What if my order volume is really low right now?
Under 10 or 15 custom orders a week, manual checking is probably still fine. We’ll tell you honestly on the call if it’s too early for your stage.
